Why do people want to work with us?
I am confident that people suffering with back and neck pain, shoulder and knee pain and the like, would be able to sit down with me in a consultation and get contemporary, evidence-based advice and care. My abilities as a chiropractor allow me to guide people everyday to recover from their issues, sustain their recovery, and then start to improve their overall health. I have 25 years of experience doing this, and it allows me a degree of self assurance. I am realistic and humble enough to know that I require a lifelong learning strategy, and I pursue knowledge with the explicit goal of assisting people be their healthiest selves. But that is only me.
We are all capable health care providers. Actually, we are more than that- we all consciously pursue excellence in our care for others. We each have unique strengths that foster trust and a belief in us from our patients that have resulted in successful and time-tested practices. We have been able to carve out a sustained success on our own that most people would be satisfied with. Experience. Constant pursuit of knowledge. Creating solutions. Seeking best practices. Empathetic and caring. Integrity. Reliable. Friendly. Relatable. But this is only each of us on our own.
Why us?
We recognize that by combining our strengths, by merging our efforts, by concentrating on a goal that goes well beyond what we do on our own, we are much more effective.
We combine different perspectives.
Two chiropractors and a physiotherapist. Do you know of many who actually work together?! We do.
Two females and a male.
Rural and urban roots.
Athletic and intellectual.
We have varied personal paths that led to why we do what we do. Our paths crossed because we sought the same thing: making more people feel better. It was in 2015 that we formally began a working relationship, providing care to patients in a government program for low back pain in our region. We actively manage patients together. TOGETHER! And then we saw a way to grow beyond the traditional ways of practicing. We needed to cut through the standard methods to each of you reading this, to empower each of you in a manner that traditional practice does not.
Why should I do this now?
The way that health care is delivered traditionally, is only as effective as the people in your area. You are here reading this because you are not sure that it is enough! To be honest, we also recognized that we were not able to provide “enough” in our offices alone.
We know that the best way to deal with back and neck pain, and many other problems that we see as a physiotherapist or chiropractor, is to involve YOU. Simply, the most effective tool is self management. This method requires something: motivation. And you, just by showing up on our site, have proven that you have the necessary amount of motivation. But you need direction.
Our programs are designed to take you from a point where you recognize that you need to do something for yourself, to having a step-by-step guide to better health. We have the knowledge and experience that you are looking for. And we have the steps laid out to make this journey uncomplicated.
Our approach has always been to collaborate, to be the “team player”, to seek out that which is more than just ourselves. Our team has ALWAYS included you, the patient.
Why should I invest $1 million in you?
The problem of back and neck pain alone is a massive worldwide issue. The burden on the individual in terms of time lost at work, money out of pocket, reduced self worth and vitality, and a perceived life altering, lifelong sentence is growing. The onus on healthcare systems, the lack of access to full and proper care, the disjointed efforts to assist, and the minefield of improper approaches speak to the urgency for a innovative solution.
Did it take a pandemic to show us that in-person care is not the only way to get healthcare? Not for us, but maybe it highlighted this fact for you. People live with their pain until they reach the point that it is no longer tolerable. What is their next step? In the past, maybe they talked to their spouse, their friend, or their co-worker first. It might have led them to call their doctor. Often, that meant medication. Perhaps an x-ray. It might have led you to one of our offices.
In the world we live in today, we know that one of the first things that you do is reach for the mouse. A Google search ensues. There is an inevitable plethora of search results, followed by the agony of figuring out what to trust.
What leads people to know our resource is the best resource? We intentionally unite our extensive knowledge and experience in a truly collaborative fashion. We purposefully seek out the best advice based on the contemporary evidence. We look to provide a resource that is easy to follow, easy to sustain, motivating and interesting. We are perfectionists and realists. Our diverse paths allow for diverse solutions. We know our approaches will be relatable. We know that our approaches will be successful.
It’s simple. So, why hasn’t anyone else done it this way?
It takes a lot of time and effort to sort through all the data, all the methods, and then offer it up to the world. We know how busy it can be in a day-to-day traditional practice. It is difficult to change the tires while the car is rolling down the road. But we have. We have taken a glimpse to the future, and we are prepared to make the future happen now.
